Options menu[]
The options menu can be accessed in-game from the Start menu or from the game's main menu. It allows the player to customize several aspects of the game.
Music volume / SE volume[]
Adjust the game's volume for music and sound effects respectively. These can also be muted completely by unchecking BGM and BGS in the F1 menu,
Default Movement[]
Sets whether the player will walk or run by default. The other movement option can be used by holding the Run key (remappable in the F1 menu).
Text speed[]
The speed at which the in-game's text is displayed. Does not affect text in battles.
Difficulty[]
Changes the difficulty setting.
Autosave[]
Makes the game save automatically every time the player heals at a Pokémon Center. It is recommended to activate it to minimize loss of progress in case the game crashes unexpectedly.
Speed-up type / speed[]
Changes the behaviour of the speed up button between a toggle or having to be held down; and how much the game will be sped up by.
Download sprites[]
When activated, the game will attempt download custom sprites using the internet. If not, the game will only use the CustomBattlers and Battlers graphics folders.
Battle type[]
Sets the preferred battle format (single, double or triple). If there are not enough Pokémon for the selected format, then the game will fall back to single/double battles.
Battle Effects[]
Enables/Disables move animations in battles
Battle Style[]
- Shift: Battles allow you to switch Pokémon before an opponent sends their other Pokémon
- Set: Cannot switch, but battles yield more Exp.
Speech Frame[]
Changes the appearance of in-game textboxes. Some of the style might cause issues with the text's color so it is recommended to stick with the default.
Text Entry[]
Sets the controls for how text is input (such as the player's name), between Cursor and Keyboard.
Fusion icons[]
Changes how the party and box icons for fusions are displayed.
- Combined: The top of the head's icon and the bottom of the body's icon are used
- DNA: A generic icon is used for all fusions
Screen Size[]
Allows to set the game window's size. Larger sizes might increase lag slightly.
Quick Surf[]
Allows the player to begin surfing automatically when interacting with water.
Level caps[]
Prevents leveling above a certain level depending on the number of badges; does not depend on the next gym leader's highest level and Champion / Elite Four aren't calculated.

Hard mode's levels caps are increased by 10%, see Difficulty settings for more info.
Device[]
- PC: Keeps all gameplay available.
- Mobile: Disables some options that aren't supported when playing on mobile.
Update man[]
The update man is a special NPC located on the top floor of Pokémon Centers. It allows the player to access some additional advanced settings, as well as changing the randomizer settings at any point during the game.
Fix Game[]
This option resets some game variables to the state their supposed to be according to the player's badge count. It can be helpful after updating from an earlier version which might not be fully backward-compatible.
Advanced options - Randomizer options[]
Allows to check and modify the various randomizer settings, as well as reshuffling the randomizer.

Advanced options - Experimental options - Single Species mode[]
Changes all trainer teams to be fusions of a particular species. See Game Modes for more info.
Advanced options - Experimental options - Other experimental options - Expert mode (beta)[]
Changes the Pokémon used by trainers and gym leaders to fusions that may be more challenging to defeat. See Game Modes for more info.
Advanced options - Experimental options - Other experimental options - No levels mode[]
Sets all Pokémon's stats to be their base stats, regardless of their level.
Advanced options - Other options - Reversed mode[]
Also available in the experimental options menu
Allows to toggle Reversed Mode. In reversed mode, all trainers use the inverted versions of the fusions they normally have.
Advanced options - Other options - Reset options - Reset trainer rematches[]
All rematchable NPCs increase in levels the more you rematch them. This option allows to reset the counter of all NPC trainers and bring their Pokémon back to their original rematch levels.
Advanced options - Other options - Reset options - Reset alt sprite substitutions[]
Resets all selected Custom Sprites, so that the game will choose another random one on next encounter.
