  • things I have learned: 1. as someone who always simply made bigger farms in near-surface z-levels, holy sh*t does cavern soil give you an insane amount of produce 2. every individual cave dweller squad giving you a popup is slightly annoying 3. I need to fiddle with the cavern openness settings some more to really get what I want. At 50/50 it still felt mostly like a big maze, so I guess I'm going to try 100 openness with density 0 next and work from there.
