People easily forget how good he was against the Rams. Lions aren't in the NFC championship without Reynolds

Definitely haven’t forgot, he was pivotal in the game. Dan and Holmes like him because of what de does in totality. His stats are not that good. 600 yards and five tds or basically two Justin Jefferson games against Detroit, lol.

    7 catches

    80 yards

    2 tds

Those were his season highs. I like continuity and consistency, but let’s be real. Those numbers are rather mundane, especially considering the attention that Amon Ra attracts.

Best of Luck Josh, and thanks for your time in Detroit. I think you’ll miss us.

I think anybody who leaves will miss us. The situation the Lions have right now with the coaching staff, locker room, chemistry, etc is pretty cool.

Apparently he’s like another QB coach who is excellent at film study, which is why they keep bringing him back.

That would be pretty underwhelming. Are you assuming we trade back?

Powers-Johnson will not be there at 29.

No trade backs. I doubt Jackson Power-Johnson will be available at 29, so I'd be thrilled if he is. Perfect fit for Detroit and can be the backup this year for all of Ragnow, Zeitler, and Glasgow. Plus he take almost all of the practice reps to keep Ragnow healthy. Kneeland had a really good Senior Bowl week and at 6'3" 270 with long arms, he's the power DE that Detroit favors and he stops the run. He's trending up after his workouts and if you want a guy like him or Darius Robinson he won't last until the 3rd in my opinion. Check out the power numbers for Max Melton ... he's fast, explosive and can jump. Rutgers has a good history of producing some DB's. He' probably underrated but his combine was fantastic. Think Denzel Wark but with longer arms maybe?

Pick best defensive player available at 29 that’s not a linebacker. Team needs help at every level on D

OL is a bigger need than some people realize. Penei Sewell is probably the only offensive lineman on the roster who will be a starter here in 2026.

Ragnow has flirted with retirment the last 2 off seasons because of his foot injuries. Decker will cost too much to keep after this year. Glasgow is a short term guy. Zeitler has a 1 year deal and is older now. You need a guard/center who will be a long term starter. One of the first 2 picks must be an interior OL.

Beebe is very good, but I think JP-J is elite.

If you want an IOL in the first round, it’s preferable to have one with starting C experience.

    $.02

Take a $1 bet that JPJ is drafted ahead of Cooper Beebee? From what I've read Beebee is strictl a guard and JPJ is experienced at both, though he only played center one season ... and well he was good enough to win the Rimington that only season.

As others have mentioned even though our OL is the strength of the team, it will become a big problem in short order. I see the Lions taking two guys with their draft picks this season, and at least one of them very high. They need guys who can take practice reps and learn the spot to take over for Zeitler, Ragnow, Decker and Glasgow in 2-3 years or sooner if their are injuries.

Take a DE at 29 if you’re not trading back and grab Beebee in round 2.
